Bido is Better!!
Hello to All!
I hope that your week has been a good one, and that you have enjoyable plans for the weekend! Ok, the Holidays are influencing your routine, but it is worth it!! Santa is coming!!!
I want to take time to write today about Bido.com and the improvements they have just launched. I attended the South Florida Domainers meeting at couple of weeks ago, and while there had the opportunity to speak with Sahar and Jarred from Bido. The chat with them was very helpful, and I was able to get a glimpse into what was coming!!
Their new launch took place a couple of days ago and they have done it again! In my opinion Bido took the domain aftermarket to a different level with their platform when they came on the scene. They have offered domain liquidtity to domain owners that didn't previously exist by incorporating social networking into domain auctioning. Bido has a following of buyers and sellers which continues to grow and grow. I have sold numerous domains at Bido and the buyers come from different corners around the world.
Previously the Bido auction platform didn't attract listings of the more valuable domains or the buyers who participate in that market. They were evidently comfortable with that knowing they first needed to establish themselves while being patient to take their business to the next level.
The "New" Bido encourages listings of higher valued domains now. You can list your domain at your "BidoPrice" of choosing without paying a reserve fee! Domains still go through the voting process to determine if they will go to auction based on the price and quality of the domain.
The other "cutting edge" feature of their program is the new "VoteForProfits" aspect. Voters have an incentive to look through the list of submitted domains to choose and vote for the ones they think deserve to go to auction. The voter makes their decision based on the quality of the domain and the "Bido Price". If the domain sells then the voter shares in proceeds of the sale!! Interesting!!!
I would say more, but am just grasping the changes myself. I highly reccommend that you visit Bido.com amd Sahar's Blog "Conceptualist.com" to learn more. The Bido team deserves a lot of credit for bringing increased interest to the "Domain Aftermarket" Way to go "Bido"!!!
